Why have a Women's Mentoring Ministry?

Mentoring is scriptural. Titus 2:3-5 says "Teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. Then, they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, to be self controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the Word of God."

Women need each other. Through the encouragement that a woman can give another, spiritual growth occurs for the both of them. The investment of mentoring pays big dividends of "fruit" and blessings.  Whether you need prayer, accoutabilty, discipleship, or encouragement, you can benefit from this intentional relationsdhip no matter your age or situation.  We are on a spiritual walk with others who are either behind us or ahead of us in experiences and growth.  We are called to a "one another" walk.

How the ministry works.  This ministry is ongoing all year long and can begin anytime a woman feels led.
